Shopping Centre Galleria Riga, Dzirnavu Street 67, Riga

These internal rules and regulations (hereinafter referred to as the “rules”) govern the conduct and use of the premises and surrounding areas of Galleria Riga shopping centre by all visitors and guests.

These rules are binding for all visitors and guests of Galleria Riga.

As Galleria Riga premises, parking, rooftop terrace on the 8th floor and adjacent areas are publicly accessible, all visitors must also comply with the City of Riga Regulation No. 80 “Public Order Rules in Riga” and all other laws and regulatory acts in force in the Republic of Latvia.

Galleria Riga is owned by SIA Patollo. According to Article 1036 of the Civil Law, ownership grants the owner full rights over the property, unless otherwise limited by law.

1. Galleria Riga Security Service

1.1. Compliance with these rules and public order is monitored by the shopping centre’s security staff.

1.2. Visitors and guests must follow the instructions of security personnel.

1.3. Video surveillance is carried out within Galleria Riga premises and adjacent areas to prevent or detect criminal acts. Surveillance is operated by SIA Patollo, Blaumaņa Street 10–9, Riga.

1.4. Security staff have the right to remove individuals who violate these rules and, if necessary, detain persons involved in illegal or criminal activities until State Police arrives.

1.5. Security staff have the right to inspect suspicious persons, objects, or situations where there is reason to suspect illegal activity.

2. Galleria Riga Opening Hours:

2.1. Indicated at shopping centre entrances.

2.2. Available on the website galleriariga.lv 

2.3. The administration has the right to change the opening hours without prior notice.

3. Prohibited behaviour within the shopping centre premises, rooftop terrace (8th floor), parking, and adjacent areas:

3.1. Presence outside opening hours without written permission from the administration.

3.2. Damaging property, littering the premises or surrounding areas.

3.3. Disturbing other visitors, guests, staff or service personnel.

3.4. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, inside the premises or within 10 m from entrances.

3.5. Wearing inappropriate, smelly or soiled clothing, or appearing overly exposed.

3.6. Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or consuming them on site (except in designated areas).

3.7. Alcohol consumption is only allowed in cafes and restaurants within the centre.

3.8. Sleeping or staying overnight anywhere on the premises.

3.9. Leaving any items unattended; such items may be removed or disposed of by security.

3.10. Sitting is only allowed in designated seating areas.

3.11. Bringing flammable or explosive substances.

3.12. Entering with weapons unless on official duty.

3.13. Violating fire safety regulations or misusing fire safety equipment.

3.14. Using emergency exits and stairwells without a valid reason.

3.15. Riding scooters, bicycles, roller skates, etc., within the premises or on the rooftop terrace.

3.16. When using mobility devices in outdoor and parking areas, users must ensure safe speeds that do not endanger others. It is recommended to walk bikes/scooters beside oneself.

3.17. Minors are the responsibility of their adult companions or legal guardians.

3.18. Visitors must observe all posted warnings or signs.

3.19. Visitors must follow national hygiene and pandemic-related safety regulations.

3.20. Fountain edge seating is allowed for customers but not for those performing economic activities (e.g., couriers, donation collectors).

3.21. No more than 3 service providers (e.g., couriers) may gather unless actively performing a service.

4. Parking

4.1. Parking rules are posted and binding to all users.

4.2. Parking is paid. Payment must follow posted rates.

4.3. Vehicles may only be parked in designated areas.

4.4. Pedestrians must use stairs/lifts; vehicle ramps are prohibited for walking.

4.5. Bicycle, scooter and similar users must follow signage and direction indicators.

4.6. Bicycle racks in the underground parking are for short-term use only. Abandoned or unused bikes may be removed or disposed of by Galleria Riga administration.

4.7. The administration and parking operator may change parking rules and pricing without notice.

5. Filming and Photography

5.1. All filming or photography (including with drones), commercial or not, is prohibited without written permission.

6. Commercial and Donation Activities

6.1. No product or service may be advertised, distributed, or sold without prior written permission.

6.2. Donations or volunteer work require written approval.

6.3. Political or other forms of campaigning, or organising gatherings or events without approval, is prohibited.

7. Rooftop Terrace (8th floor)

7.1. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.

7.2. Restricted zones and railings must not be crossed.

7.3. Minors are the responsibility of their accompanying adults.

7.4. According to Riga Regulation No. 80, minors under 16 may not be on the terrace after 22:00 without adult supervision.

8. Animals and Movement

8.1. Pets may enter the public areas if leashed and accompanied. Each tenant sets its own animal policy.

8.2. Bicycles or scooters may be walked through the centre between Blaumaņa and Dzirnavu entrances.

9. Galleria Riga is not responsible for:

9.1. Unattended belongings left in the centre or surrounding areas.

9.2. Unattended mobility devices.

9.3. Security may remove any such items if they disrupt safety or operations.

9.4. Security may inspect or dispose of suspicious items without notice if they pose a threat.

10. Emergencies

10.1. Leave the premises immediately if evacuation alarms sound.

10.2. Follow instructions from staff, security or emergency services.

10.3. Do not use lifts or escalators; evacuate via staircases.

10.4. In emergencies, the administration may close the centre partially or fully without prior notice. No compensation claims will be accepted.
