Galleria Riga's rooftop terrace is a special place in the very heart of the city – high above Riga's rooftops, with a 360° panoramic view of the UNESCO World Heritage site and the historic center of Riga.
Currently the terrace is operating Herbary – a cocktail bar and restaurant that offers seasonal dishes, creative cocktails and a close-to-nature atmosphere. It is an ideal place to enjoy the sunset, lunch in the quiet of the city or a leisurely evening with friends above the panorama of Riga.

Soon Galleria Riga's rooftop terrace will undergo an extensive reconstruction that will transform it into the highest public square in Riga — an approximately 3 200 m², multifunctional urban space accessible to everyone.
The new terrace will combine restaurants and cafés, event and cultural zones, green oases and relaxation areas, as well as a running track that will wind around the glass atrium.

The Central Pavilion will become a multifunctional event space where Riga residents, city visitors and artists will be able to enjoy concerts, art events and public activities with a breathtaking view over Riga.

The terrace will be available year-round – with open areas for the warm season and covered pavilions for cooler or rainy weather.

Being located in a UNESCO World Heritage area, the project is being developed with special respect for Riga's historic environment. The terrace will highlight one of the city's most significant cultural values – its historic roofscape.
