Galleria Riga
In September of this year East Capital Real Estate received a building permit for the reconstruction of the Galleria Riga roof, and the development of the technical project has begun. 3 200 m² roof terrace will become the highest public space in Riga, where every city resident and visitor will be able to enjoy a unique panoramic view of Riga's historic centre. The terrace will combine restaurants, cafés, event zones, green oases and relaxation areas, as well as a running track around the glass atrium. Construction is planned to start in the spring of 2026.
Being located in Riga's UNESCO World Heritage site, the rooftop terrace will highlight one of the city's greatest cultural values – its historic roofscape. In the design process, special attention has been paid to preserving the authenticity of the city's silhouette – the new buildings will not be visible from street level, while at the same time making this heritage panorama accessible to everyone.
